A full conference face-to-face ticket includes:

  • Monday 17 June 2024 (Student/Early Career Researcher Pre-Conference Day, 10.30am to 5.30pm, refreshments provided)
  • Tuesday 18 June 2024 (Conference Day 1, 8.30am to 5.30pm, lunch provided)
  • Wednesday 19 June 2024 (Conference Day 2, 8.30am to 5.30pm, lunch provided)
  • Thursday 20 June 2024 (Conference Day 3, 8.30am to 4.00pm, lunch provided)

You will need to be a member of the Gender and Education Association (GEA) to attend the conference. Not a member? Please visit the GEA website http://www.genderandeducation.com/join  to join. If you have recently registered with GEA but do not have your membership number yet, you will still be able to buy a ticket for the conference. You will be able to enter TBC when you are asked to fill in your GEA membership number and progress to payment. We will reconcile this separately with the GEA membership list in the lead up to the conference.


The early bird rate only applies if you are attending the full conference face-to-face.


If you are presenting at the conference, you are required to attend face-to-face and you will need to purchase a face-to-face conference ticket.


A concession rate applies if you are a full time student and/or if you are employed part-time or not in paid employment and/or if you are from a low to upper middle income economy (as per 2023 World Bank classification https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/low-income-countries).


Terms and conditions

Social events

Your conference registration fee includes your attendance at the following social events. For a single day conference ticket, your conference registration fee includes your attendance at the social event on the day you are attending. When you register, you will be asked to confirm if you are attending any of the social events.

 

  • Monday 17 June 2024 (Student/Early Career Researcher Pre-Conference Day) Welcome Reception, Rydges, Port Macquarie, from 6.00pm
  • Tuesday 18 June 2024 (Conference Day 1) Networking Book Launch and Wine Reception, Rydges Port Macquarie, from 7.00pm
  • Wednesday 19 June 2024 (Conference Day 2) Food Truck Festival, Port Macquarie campus, Charles Sturt University, from 6.30pm 

Bursaries and equity grants

Bursaries are provided to assist people who cannot afford the conference registration fees or other costs associated with attending the conference (travel and accommodation).

 

Equity grants are offered to cover the costs of quality Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) adjustments to reduce barriers and improve accessibility and inclusion.
